A Heartfelt Announcement from the Founder of I Was Just Thinking Ministries
🎓 I’m Officially Rev. Dr. Sanette Fleming!
Shalom, friends and family of the faith!
I write today with a heart overflowing with gratitude and awe at the goodness of Adonai. After years of prayerful pursuit, diligent study, and Spirit-led research, I am beyond thrilled to share some very good news:
I have officially earned my Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree from Regent University’s School of Divinity!
This journey has been marked by both challenge and joy, revelation and reflection. It has deepened my faith, sharpened my calling, and—perhaps most significantly—solidified my commitment to equip the Body of Messiah to return to the ancient paths, where the Scriptures breathe with fresh fire and eternal truth.
🕊️ Why This Research Matters
My dissertation, titled “Yeshua’s (Jesus’) Appointed Feasts and the ‘Christian’ Home,” is far more than an academic exercise. It is a clear call to believers everywhere to rediscover the transformative power of God’s appointed times (mo’edim)—those sacred rhythms revealed in Leviticus 23 and fulfilled in the life, death, resurrection, ascension, and return of our Messiah, Yeshua.
The study involved immersive teaching, family-centred discipleship, interviews, and hands-on practice of the Biblical Feasts within contemporary Christian homes. What we discovered was deeply moving: families found their faith revived, their understanding of Scripture expanded, and their love for Yeshua reignited—not by ritual, but by returning to God’s calendar, God’s Word, and God’s ways.
📚 Becoming a Published Scholar: Why It Matters
In just a few weeks, my dissertation will be published and available to the academic and ministry community. This will officially make me a published scholar—a title that opens new doors and deepens our ministry’s credibility and reach.
Being a published scholar means:
- I am now part of the global community of researchers shaping conversations in theology, Christian education, and Messianic studies.
- My work will be cited in future academic research, pastoral training, and discipleship resources.
- It affirms that the vision and values of I Was Just Thinking Ministries are rooted not only in revelation, but also in rigorous, peer-reviewed scholarship.
This honour allows us to confidently stand in both ministry and academic spaces, speaking truth with compassion, clarity, and credibility.
