Biblical Womanhood | MENSTRATING MEN (Part 2)The Erasure of Womanhood and the End of Truth

“Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female?”
—Matthew 19:4, TLV

“They have healed the wound of My people superficially, saying, ‘Shalom, shalom,’ when there is no shalom.”
—Jeremiah 6:14, TLV

I. Identity Crisis by Design: Corporate Capitulation to Cultural Confusion

In its 2020 statement, NBC News highlighted another layer of gender ideology and its impact on the marketplace:

*“Some transgender and gender-nonconforming people who menstruate… say when the products are categorized as women’s products, they can feel alienated — and may even avoid purchasing them altogether.”*¹

As a response, the global feminine hygiene brand Always® removed the female (♀) symbol from its product packaging to appear more “inclusive.”² But inclusivity, in this case, comes at the expense of truth and biology. It raises a critical question: Is this truly about dignity, or is it about dollars?

According to global consumer studies, women account for 70–80% of household buying decisions.³ If biological women are still the primary users and purchasers of feminine hygiene products, then the erasure of female-specific branding is not only biologically false—it is economically irrational and morally offensive.

Perhaps it is time to shift the market. Perhaps women must intentionally support brands that honor truth and biological design, even if it means turning to overseas manufacturers. Let the consumer say: “If you erase women, we will erase your brand.”

II. The Offense of Truth: Who Is Really Alienated?

It is puzzling, even deeply ironic, that individuals identifying as transgender or gender non-conforming feel “alienated” by products designed for biological realities. Menstruation is not a feeling—it is a function of a female body.

The offense, then, is not about packaging—it is about truth itself. Romans 1 tells us:

“They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator…”
—Romans 1:25, TLV

In a secular worldview that exalts self-identification over divine design, truth is offensive because it cannot be controlled. The truth is that only women menstruate. The truth is that only women can conceive and give birth. No amount of hormone therapy, surgical alteration, or symbolic redesign can change the immutable biological and theological categories embedded in creation (Gen. 1:27).

III. Theological Reflection: God’s Use of Female Imagery and Labor

The prophets of Israel often used the image of a woman in labor to describe the birth pangs of judgment, transition, and renewal—a uniquely female experience used to convey cosmic truth:

“Writhe and cry out, Daughter Zion, like a woman in labor… But there you will be rescued.”
—Micah 4:10, TLV

“We were pregnant, we writhed in labor, we gave birth, it seems, only to wind…”
—Isaiah 26:18, TLV

Even the apostle Paul echoes this in Romans:

“The whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.”
—Romans 8:22, TLV

Why does Scripture use this imagery? Because God is not confused about gender. His metaphors are rooted in real experiences given exclusively to women. The prophetic use of labor pain becomes meaningless if the distinction between male and female is lost. And that is precisely what this movement seeks: the abolition of distinctions, which in Biblical theology is tantamount to chaos and judgment (cf. Isa. 5:20; Deut. 22:5).

IV. The Slippery Slope: From Menstruation to Male Pregnancy?

As medicine enables men to simulate menstruation through hormone therapy, one must ask: What is next?

In 2023, research at the University of Oregon began exploring uterus transplantation into biological males, citing “gender-affirming reproductive equality” as a driving motive.⁴ Other researchers in Japan have already achieved pregnancy in male rats through uterine transplantation and hormone manipulation.⁵

Science is no longer a pursuit of truth. It has become a laboratory of idolatry—a Tower of Babel built with scalpels and stem cells. Doctors are not just playing God—they are declaring war on His design.

But the God of Israel will not be mocked.

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
—1 Corinthians 1:19, TLV

V. Psychological and Sociological Consequences: The Human Cost

What is the cost of this ideological chaos?

1. Mental Health

Studies consistently show that transgender individuals have significantly higher rates of depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. A 2022 study from the British Medical Journal revealed that 81% of transgender youth experience suicidal thoughts, compared to 17% of the general population.⁶ Transitioning may offer temporary relief, but it does not resolve the underlying identity crisis.

2. Developmental Confusion

Children are being indoctrinated with gender theory as early as preschool, creating confusion about their own biology. Pediatrician Dr. Michelle Cretella warns:

“To indoctrinate children with the lie that they could be ‘born in the wrong body’… is psychological abuse.”⁷

3. Cultural Decay

Sociologist Carl Trueman, in The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self, argues that expressive individualism—the idea that identity comes from internal feelings rather than external truth—is dismantling the moral foundations of the West.⁸ The erasure of womanhood is not an isolated event—it is a symptom of civilizational decay.

VI. The Prophetic Role of the Body of Yeshua: Speak Now or Be Silenced

The Synagogue and Church must not capitulate. Our silence is complicity.

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
—Ephesians 5:11, TLV

We must teach our daughters that their bodies are sacred, their femininity is God-ordained, and their calling as women is not interchangeable, transferable, or optional.

We must disciple our sons to honor, protect, and uphold the image of womanhood, not degrade it through ideological sympathy.

We must challenge corporations that erase women. We must confront educational systems that confuse children. We must engage our pulpits with prophetic clarity, not political correctness.

Conclusion: Real Women Still Matter

Let us say it boldly and unapologetically:

  • Women menstruate.
  • Women conceive and give birth.
  • Women are not a costume or construct.
  • Women are the image bearers of God in feminine form.

Yeshua came into the world through a woman.
He honored His mother.
He first revealed His resurrection to a woman.
He calls His people His Bride.

“You shall be called ‘My Delight Is in Her’… for Adonai delights in you, and your land will be married.”
—Isaiah 62:4, TLV

To erase womanhood is to erase a part of God’s glory. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Let the daughters of Zion rise and say: we will not be erased.
