2025 END OF YEAR REPORT - I WAS JUST THINKING MINISTRIES

Looking back at 2025, I Was Just Thinking Ministries (IWJTM) testifies to a year marked by both breakthrough and refinement. Some goals were joyfully realized, while others were delayed or reshaped in ways we did not initially anticipate. Yet in all these things, we remain confident that “all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Ministry Alignment, Planning, and Vision

Throughout 2025, IWJTM held executive staff meetings on January 14, September 1, and October 17. These meetings were devoted to prayer, strategic planning, and aligning the ministry’s activities with its mission: to provide sound, Messianic, Bible-based teaching that strengthens believers, defends the faith, and calls the Body of Messiah back to God’s Appointed Times and His Word.

At our January 14 staff meeting, we established significant goals for the year, including:

Building and expanding content on the ministry’s website.
Mirroring and repurposing website content on our social media platforms.
Focusing our 2025 content strategy on the Biblical Holidays (Moadim), with additional themed articles that address apologetics, Biblical authority, and Messianic theology.

These goals guided our writing, teaching, and media efforts throughout the year.

In addition, 2025 was a year of strengthening IWJTM’s organizational foundation. Under the leadership of our President & CEO, The Rev. Dr. Sanette Fleming, we continued to refine our bylaws, clarify our mission and doctrinal commitments, and develop a Board of Directors Handbook to articulate the responsibilities, expectations, and Biblical qualifications for board service. These efforts help ensure that IWJTM, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, operates with integrity, transparency, and Biblical faithfulness.

Teaching Ministry & Written Resources

One of IWJTM’s central expressions of ministry is the creation of Biblically faithful, well-researched written resources. In 2025, we intentionally produced multiple articles around key themes, often beginning with a comprehensive “pillar article” and then developing shorter, related pieces to deepen understanding and improve search visibility.

Truth Conference: From Delay to Deeper Preparation

Following the success of IWJTM’s first Truth Conference in 2024, we entered 2025 with a vision to host a second Truth Conference in November 2025. The planned theme focused on defending the inerrancy, authenticity, and reliability of the Bible, building on the prior year’s emphasis on distinguishing relative truth from absolute truth.

As part of our planning, we:

Clarified the theological and apologetic focus of the 2025 conference.
Sought potential host sites, including local congregations, Lancaster Bible College, and other community venues.
Began identifying speakers, panelists, and musicians who could serve the Body of Messiah through Biblically grounded teaching and worship.

Despite earnest efforts, we were unable to secure a suitable host site in time due to factors beyond our control. Consequently, we made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the Truth Conference to November 2026.

Although this delay was initially disappointing, it became an unexpected blessing. The postponement allowed us to use the final months of 2025 to:

Deepen our planning and communication with the presenter team and worship leaders.
Confirm a host site at Lancaster Bible College.
Strengthen the conference’s structure, schedule, and supporting materials.

We believe that the extra preparation time will result in a more impactful Truth Conference in 2026, with greater clarity, excellence, and spiritual fruit.

Academic Milestone, Strengthening the Ministry

The year 2025 marked the culmination of four years of focused academic and ministry work by our President and CEO, The Rev. Dr. Sanette Fleming. In August 2025, Rev. Dr. Fleming successfully defended and published her Doctor of Ministry dissertation, “Yeshua’s (Jesus’) Appointed Feasts and the Christian Home.”

We rejoice with Rev. Dr. Fleming and give thanks to Adonai for this significant achievement. Her doctoral work, which centers on the very themes at the heart of IWJTM — Yeshua’s Appointed Feasts, Biblical discipleship in the home, and Biblical renewal — directly enriches the teaching, resources, and credibility of this ministry. The knowledge, training, and credentials she has gained are already helping to strengthen and advance IWJTM’s mission to call believers back to a thoroughly Biblical, Messiah-centered way of life.

Discipleship, Counseling, and Family Ministry

Beyond digital content and events, IWJTM continues to serve individuals and families through personal discipleship and pastoral care.

Throughout 2025, IWJTM provided private immersion (baptism) counseling to two teenagers seeking to understand what it means to follow Yeshua as disciples and to commit their lives to Him. As part of this year-long immersive curriculum:

We hosted the immersion candidates and their families for an experiential teaching via a Passover Seder.
During the Seder, we highlighted the connection between the blood of the Passover lamb and the blood of our Messiah Yeshua, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29).

Both immersion candidates completed their learning curriculum in the fall of 2025. They are now drafting their personal statements of faith and discernment, with guidance and prayer, to determine whether they are ready to profess their faith and enter the waters of immersion publicly.

This kind of slow, intentional, Biblically-rooted discipleship reflects IWJTM’s heart: not merely to inform minds, but to shape lives and equip the next generation of believers.

Media Ministry: Podcast Relaunch

In connection with a refining of IWJTM’s mission and focus, the ministry paused its regular podcast production schedule in 2024. After a season of evaluation and planning, we joyfully relaunched the IWJTM podcast in the fall of 2025 with a brand-new series:

“Let’s Talk Messianic: Messianic Judaism and the Jewish Roots of Christianity.”

In this ongoing series, we explore:

How believing in Yeshua deepens, rather than abandons, a Jewish heritage.
The continuity of God’s covenants and the interconnection between the Tanakh (“Old Testament”) and the Brit Chadasha (“New Testament”).
The implications of these truths for both Jewish and Gentile believers today.
The early first-century context of the ekklesia, the concept of Gentile believers being grafted into Israel, and the ongoing tensions surrounding replacement theology.

The podcast relaunch represents not just a return to audio content, but a clarified voice for IWJTM that is Messianic, apologetic, and deeply rooted in Scripture. We look forward to expanding this series and using the podcast as a key teaching and outreach tool in the year ahead.

Organizational Development, Technology, and Infrastructure

The year 2025 also brought important steps toward strengthening IWJTM’s operational infrastructure, enabling the ministry to sustain and scale its work in future years.

Key developments included:

Office and Studio Space Exploration
We toured a potential office space to serve as IWJTM’s physical base of operations. The envisioned use for this space includes recording videos and podcasts, hosting meetings and small group studies, and maintaining regular office hours for ministry administration and pastoral appointments.

Electronic Giving and Financial Tools
Recognizing the needs of a growing 501(c)(3) ministry, we researched and evaluated electronic giving platforms better suited to nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to offer supporters secure, user-friendly options for giving, while strengthening our financial reporting and stewardship practices.

Staffing and Administrative Support
We investigated the steps required to hire a part-time executive assistant to support IWJTM’s expanding workload. Such a role would help improve the consistency, timeliness, and efficiency of the ministry’s communications, scheduling, donor relations, and project management.

Digital Presence and Technology Planning
Building on our 2025 content and SEO work, we also explored the benefits of the development of a custom IWJTM ministry app. The app would centralize articles, podcasts, Torah portions, event registrations, and devotional content on a single accessible platform. While still in the planning phase, this initiative reflects our desire to meet believers where they are, on their phones and devices, with sound Biblical teaching.

Taken together, these steps represent a deliberate investment in IWJTM’s long-term health and readiness to serve a broader audience without compromising Biblical integrity or pastoral care.

As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude and expectation. The year 2026 will, Lord willing, include:

The planning and execution of the 2026 Truth Conference at Lancaster Bible College focused on the inerrancy, authenticity, and reliability of the Scriptures.

The continued production and expansion of the IWJTM podcast, especially the “Let’s Talk Messianic” series.

Ongoing publication of weekly website articles and regular social media posts to provide Biblically grounded, Messianic teaching on God’s Appointed Times, discipleship, and apologetics.

The launch of a webinar series on the Moadim (God’s Appointed Times) beginning in January 2026, designed to equip believers around the world to understand and celebrate the Biblical Feasts in light of the Messiah.

Further optimization of our website and digital platforms, with a view toward improved accessibility, user experience, and global reach.

Continued refinement of day-to-day operations, including financial systems, potential staff/assistant support, board development, and exploration of office/studio space.

Through it all, we remain wholly dependent on the grace and leading of Adonai.

We offer I Was Just Thinking Ministries into His hands and pray for His favor, protection, and provision. May He lead us, correct us where needed, and empower us by His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to do His will. May everything we produce, whether articles, podcasts, conferences, or personal discipleship, point people to Yeshua the Messiah, the Living Word, and bring glory to His Name.
